GRAB YOUR WALKING SHOES & TAKE A “GIANT STEP” FOR THE SOUTHERN AREA HOSPICE ON OUR
This year the Southern Area Hospice is planning a new challenge for walkers of all abilities, “The Causeway Walk Challenge”. The “Giant Step Walk” will take walkers along the beautiful rugged coast line from Portballintrae to Dunserverick. Walking approximately 11 miles our 3-4 hour walk will take us to the renowned Giant Causeway. Steeped with tradition we will walk in an area where this natural phenomenon resides.
After our exertions we will head to the Best Western Maherabuoy House Hotel***, Portrush to relax and enjoy a nights ‘craic’ with our fellow walkers with an evening meal. After breakfast on Sunday we plan to visit Bushmills Distillery, before returning home.
Participants are asked to pay a £50 non refundable deposit and then raise sponsorship of £200. This will cover dinner, bed, breakfast and transport. Sponsorship should be collected and handed into hospice before departure.
